Thanksgiving

This was the first Thanksgiving Dinner that I hosted and it turned out a lot better than I expected. I made the traditional stuff like turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and even made my mom's special rolls (which actually turned out) and her cranberry salad.
As for the actual dinner: Mabel peed her pants before we got the food dished up, Max was nursing during dinner, Sam was in and out of his chair about a dozen times, Mabel returned from the bathroom and hit her chin and needed a band-aid (Curious George kind), and then we enjoyed a few minutes of quiet time at the end.
Annette came over and made her green bean casserole and pecan pie. We were full from lunch, so we ate three half slices of pie for dinner (pumpkin, coconut cream, and pecan). It turned out to be a very nice day.
Mabel and Sam before dinner...I think they ate more before dinner than during the actual meal.

Happy Thanksgiving! You can come cook at my house anytime you would like! I will even stock up on kids band aids and pull ups! :)
