Yesterday we got some "lake effect" snow that totalled between 3-4 inches (according to Kevin Ubank). It snowed on and off all day long. The kids actually got out to play in this snow storm, but play time only lasted about 5 minutes because Sam kept tripping over his own boots and wouldn't wear his mittens, but cried when his hands got cold. Silly boy.It froze last night, so Nick was out at 7:30 last night bringing in the hose so it wouldn't freeze. We still have snow all over the ground today, even though we're up to 50 degrees.
I'm not so sure about winter coming, because it's hard enough getting everyone ready to go outside, but life gets more complicated when you have to worry about three coats, three hats, three gloves, three boots, etc. and then I have to get myself bundled up....exhausting. Then coming in and taking off three coats, three hats, three gloves, three boots, etc, etc, etc. Hopefully our outings will last more than 5 minutes next time!
