Sam's New Bed

Since Max was rapidly outgrowing his cradle and needed a bigger crib, and Sam kept trying to sleep in Mabel's bed (because he's a big boy, of course), we decided to change the kids' sleeping arraignments. Max moved into the crib Sam had been using and Sam got a new, twin size bed!

For now, he just gets a mattress on the ground. That way when he rolls off the bed, which we guarantee he will, it doesn't hurt as bad. We plan on getting him a nice bed frame after he figures out how to sleep on a bed without bars. Sam wasted no time in trying out his new bed, and within a few short minutes, both he and Mabel were really putting the mattress to the test - the jump test that is!

On your mark, get set...

Go!!

Mabel's turn!

At first we put Sam in the blue room by himself, but that lasted about 20 minutes. Having a new bed, in a different room, all by himself was more than Sam could handle and he refused to even lay down on the bed. So we moved him back in with Mabel. He still isn't quite sure about his new sleeping situation, but he's slowly adapting. Max is quite happy about the extra room to kick his legs and wiggle his arms.

The game Mabel and Sam are play looks real fun!
