For our anniversary this year, we finally decided it was time to go out for an evening. So we booked a room at the Anniversary Inn and it was wonderful.
The room had a very comfortable and plush king size bed.
The tub was big and beautiful with a waterfall shower. The Anniversary Inn of course treats you right, with sparkling cider and cheesecake in your room. They also brought us an evening snack and a hot breakfast which was all included in the room. For dinner, we got dressed up and went downtown to the Melting Pot which is a fondue restaurant. We had a spinach artichoke cheese fondue, salad, and a vegetable broth fondue that you cooked your meat in. We had duck, steak, chicken, pork, shrimp, and pot stickers with a variety of dipping sauces. It was very fun and delicious. We were too full for dessert, but would love to go back for the chocolate fondue sometime.
In the morning we went on a run together and ran by Nick's old high school (Rowland Hall), Judge Memorial High School, and East High. There was a large hill, which is why our running times on 6/5 are so slow (or maybe we also enjoyed conversation with each other more than running!) It was a much needed retreat without the kids--thanks again, Mom for watching the kids! We really appreciate it. We'd love to do it again sometime, hopefully it won't be another six years before we go again.

Looks like a really fun time. Every so often one needs some pampering.
Was great seeing your family at Tido's today. Flight home tonight was a little "dicey" but I've seen worse.
Love

That sounds so nice.
I'm glad you guys got to have a break. I love the melting pot. It is so good! I had a lot of fun with you the other day. Let's not wait so long next time! Are your toes still pretty?!
