Family Day at Work

Today was bring your family to work day at ATK (where Nick works). The whole family spent the entire day sitting in dad's 5' x 5' work space as Nick stared at his computer screen ALL DAY LONG!!! Just kidding! AFTER Nick got off work, his classy work area turned into a carnival of 700 people touring the place. It was actually really neat because the building is high security and off limits to the public. So until today, I had seen the parking lot and a small front lobby.

So for one night only, guests of employees were allowed to tour the facility. We started in the parking lot with a hot dog/hamburger dinner. We then went to see daddy's office and toured the design and manufacturing areas. They had a bag of candy for the kids half way through the tour which was great because the kids were getting very wiggly to say the least. At the end of the tour, they took our picture and gave us another goodie bag. All electronic devices such as cell phones and cameras were still banned from the building so this is the only picture we got after our exhausting tour. Don't we look great?
