The 5K was Saturday morning and despite not getting a good night's sleep the night before (do to Max teething and a neighborhood assault involving a crazy drunk girl and police hauling her away at 2:00 a.m.), we did pretty good. Here's the link below. We are both in the 25-29 year old category.
Nick came in at 29:46 and I finished at 33:16. It was a lot of fun. We got a lot of free goodies from joining the race. Mabel participated in the fun run-100 foot-race and looked cute. We didn't get any pictures because we left the camera in the car, but believe me, she was cute! Nick won a DVD in the raffle giveaway and with all the freebies, it definitely paid for our entrance fee. We were both pretty sore yesterday, but feel good today. We both thought it was a good experience and are planning on doing it again next year.
