It seems that the older that Max gets, the more he seems just like one of the kids. Last week, we put him in the clip-on high chair so that we're all sitting around the table now. It makes our family seem even bigger with him at the table. Mabel and Sam love having Max at the table so much that they didn't even mind the new seating arrangement.
My three little dum-dums.
Sam is teaching Max the finer points of guzzling a juice bottle. Max already loves his juice as much as Sam does, so at this rate, we're in for trouble.
Nick was feeding Max yesterday and Max was flapping his arms around which then caused the spoon to splatter it's contents around the kitchen. Not only did it land on Max, but the wall and floor as well.
On Saturday, we got out and planted our peas and carrots in the garden. The kids love primary songs, so we've been teaching them "The Prophet Said to Plant a Garden" and planted away. The seeds didn't end up in the ground like the packaging says, but we're hopeful that something will sprout...the only problem is seeing if the sprouts will make it into vegetables or be pulled sooner than expected by our new little gardeners. We've lost two fish this week. Mabel and Sam have watched me flush them both down the potty, but don't really comprehend it. So we have a third fish that looks like it could die any second. Every time it looks like it might be dead, Mabel and Sam tell me to get the spoon and take the fish to the potty. Just as I reach for the spoon, the fish starts swimming around again. I guess it just doesn't want to go potty.

Your story about the fish not wanting to go potty has me cracking up. That is so funny.
I guess you are not supposed to have animals if they keep dying. Maybe you should just stick to kids. At least it is only fish and not puppies or something.
This will be my third year planting tomatoes. I still have not got one red tomatoe they get picked before they can get to that point.
That is really cute! I wouldn't let my mom flush any of my fish. There are a bunch of buried fish bones in my parents back yard. :)
You guys are so cute! I just love reading about all your adventures!
