Nick's Five Tag

Five Things I was Doing Ten Years Ago:

1. Freshman year of college at Harvey Mudd College in southern California
2. Getting the worst grades of my life (going from consistent A's in high school to consistent C's in college was an unpleasant shock)
3. Consistently staying up until at least 2:00AM doing homework (with some playtime, of course)
4. Getting a lot more exercise than I do now (the campus gym was 2 minutes away from my dorm room)
5. Turning in my papers to go on a LDS mission

Five Snacks I enjoy:
1. Coke or Mountain Dew (not Pepsi and definitely nothing diet)
2. Cheese crackers (salty is my favorite food group)
3. Peanut M&Ms (sweet is my second favorite food group)
4. Smoked almonds
5. Cheese sticks

Five Places I have lived:
1. Plain City, UT
2. Salt Lake City, UT
3. Logan, UT
4. West Valley, UT
5. Michigan

Five Jobs I have had:
1. Shoveling manure out of horse stalls for a neighbor (my first job)
2. Bagger at Smith's grocery store
3. Nut packer at Western Nut
4. Research assistant at the University of Utah
5. Maintance crew for the BLM in Kanab

Five Pet peeves:
1. Bad spelling and grammar (I'm not perfect either, I peeve myself sometimes)
2. The wind
3. Trying to fit two adults and three kids in a queen bed
4. Sore throats
5. When my clothes aren't folded correctly (after five years Ashlee has made drastic improvements)

Five Things that bring me joy:
1. Going to work (staying home with three kids is much harder than any office job)
2. Coming home from work (I do enjoy the kids, in short increments)
3. Watching sports on TV (mostly college football and basketball)
4. Exercising
5. Ashlee (she cooks, she cleans, she's a great mom, and she's finally figuring out the intricies of folding my laundry - what more could a guy ask for?)

Five Places I'd like to travel to:
1. Africa - to see the hippos
2. The Carribean (any of those small islands will do)
3. Washington DC
4. Alaska
5. Anywhere without the kids (this will change in a few years I'm sure, but for now it's the truth)
