Pumpkin Patch Kids

Last night we went to the pumpkin patch for our annual pumpkin patch pick.  We grew our own pumpkins, but only have two good sized, orange pumpkins, so we went to get three more.  They change the pumpkin patch a little each year.  This year they had the same tractor display, children's corn maze, and cats running around, but added kid sized wheel barrows!  Mabel started out with the wheelbarrow, but Sam quickly took over.  He found a small pumpkin and pushed it around the entire field, so we couldn't tell him to put his pumpkin back after he wheeled around for so long, so we came home with four pumpkins instead.

The kids each got their own turn on several tractors.

About half way through the pumpkin pickin' process, a friendly cat showed up and took the kids interest.  All three of them were running through dried pumpkin vines, tripping and scrambling to reach the cat just as she hid in the corn field.  Finally, the cat let the kids pet her.  After we paid for our pumpkins, a friendly witch showed the kids a 5 month old kitten.  When we got home, we asked the kids what their favorite part was and they said, "the cat."

And for old time sake, this was last year....we had a hard time getting a picture because the same cat kept distracting them.
