Dr. Bearson

A couple of months ago, I picked up a Berenstain Bears movie for the kids to watch.  The first show on the DVD is all about the dentist.  Nick and I have also been going to the dentist recently for check-ups and a little bit of work and the kids wanted to go to the dentist very badly.  Even though our dentist's name is Dr. Baugh, the kids are convinced that they went to see Dr. Bearson (just like the Berenstain bear cubs did in the movie). 

Nick took Mabel and Sam this morning and I stayed home with Max.  They played in the treehouse until they called them back.

Mabel was very good while they cleaned her teeth.  She got to watch Dora on a TV in the ceiling.

Just like most things, Sam was terrified.  They didn't even charge our insurance for a cleaning since Sam didn't give them much of a chance to get close.

Mabel did very well even while the dentist checked her teeth.  She has 20 teeth and no cavities.  Sam also got in the zero cavity club, but Dr. Baugh didn't get much of a chance to check his teeth.

The kids came home super excited and had all kinds of goodies.  Mabel got a Zero Cavity Certificate, a pink balloon, a Dora toothbrush, Spongebob toothpaste, floss, and a small flag toy.  Sam got a Zero Cavity Certificate, a blue balloon, a duck toothbrush, Spongebob toothpaste, floss picks, and a red bouncy ball.  I guess I should take a few lessons from the kids because I sure don't like going to the dentist nearly as much as they did.
