For Labor Day, we invited my family over for a good old fashioned BBQ. Mom, Dad, and Brooke came up on Sunday to help me out in church and spent Sunday night at our house. Kristen then came over for Sunday dinner and also spent the night. On Labor Day, Ryan and Tyler's families came over to play for the day. After the BBQ we played some "Minute to Win It" games that Nick had organized. It was a lot of fun spending the day with family and cousins.

Today, Mabel started dance class for the year. She has been so excited and loves to wear her ballet shoes around the house and even put her tap shoes on during nap time today. It was a little stressful for me because we are carpooling a friend of Mabel's. When I went to pick them up after their first class, Mabel's friend tripped and bumped/gashed her head on a table in the dance studio. Luckily, I could soothe her a little bit (but not much), but felt so bad dropping her off at home with a big purple bump on her head even though she was giggling by the time we got home. Tomorrow, I carpool them to their first day of preschool....let's hope no one gets hurt tomorrow.

Preschool already!! that is crazy. I can't believe Mabel is that old already.
