Today while coloring, Sam came across the above page in his "construction" coloring book. He asked about the pencil above the man's ear and I showed the kids with the crayons that ears can hold things so you can use both hands. Well, for the next 20 minutes, the kids had to try it out and giggled and giggled about how cool it was that ears could hold crayons.
Sam always tends to get more and more creative and showed me that he could put crayons on his head, too.
And inside the ear as well!
On a different note, while shopping for long sleeved shirts for Sam, we found some jackets and realized that the boys needed new jackets. After a long debate with ourselves, we let the boys get the jackets that they wanted....the exact same one, that is. So by default, the boys should get even more, "are they twins?" comments at the grocery store this fall.
