Everytime that we drive to or from Bountiful, I admire the big Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolate Factory sign that says, "Free Samples". I checked it out online and found out that they do factory tours. So I asked Becky, a friend from the ward, and her kids if they wanted to join us. So we went this morning. The tour itself wasn't too exciting since it was all behind glass and far away. But the kids really liked the movies, especially the "I Love Lucy" chocolate factory show. Sam had a hard time eating his free samples, which was okay because I got the left-overs!!! I wish I would have gotten pictures of the actual factory, but I didn't.
Mabel and Sam got cozy during the movie about the history of chocolate.
Sam said his favorite part was getting the lolliepop afterward in the candy shop. And just in case you're wondering about the wall above Max' head--that used to be where Max's coat hook was, that is until he pulled it and the wall down trying to pull his coat off the wall. No matter how many times we told him to pull his coat up and out, he didn't quite get it...so our solution will be to get a wood block with coat hooks attached and put that on the wall.
