BOY!!!!
When we went in for Mabel's ultrasound 4 years ago and found out we were having a girl, Nick mentioned, "Okay, Ashlee, you can have the first one, but I get the rest!" Well, I guess he knew what he was talking about, because our household will be heavy on the testosterone.
We had our ultrasound on Friday morning. It was the worst ultrasound I have ever had....I drank a little too much and was very uncomfortable (even after letting some out before the ultrasound started) and the ultrasound itself took between 45 and 50 minutes. All of my other ultrasounds have only taken 10-15 minutes. The technician spent at least 10 minutes looking at just the heart. She said according to the measurements that the baby's due date was Sept. 27 (Sept. 20 is the scheduled due date), but that they won't change the due date. By the end I was concerned that it took so long and asked if everything looked okay. (Mind you, she didn't talk during the ultrasound at all except to tell us it was a boy. I had to ask what some of the parts were and got a one word answer.) She responded by telling me that she couldn't tell me anything and that I would be contacted by my doctor if anything was wrong. Based on the long ultrasound, a week's difference in developement, and her comment that she couldn't tell me anything, I worried all weekend that there was a problem. I called my OB first thing this morning and didn't hear back until she left a message late tonight saying that she didn't see any problems on the ultrasound. I was relieved to say the least.
We are looking forward to having another boy join our family and looking forward to more bugs, superheros, dinosaurs, cub-scouts, scouts, camping trips, sports teams, missions, ect, ect, ect.

Congrats good thing boys are fun. That is crazy about the ultra sound I have never had one like that.
Congratulations on another boy! We are very happy for you. I spent over three years in Cubscouts and it was one of the funnest callings I had. It was like having a boys birthday party every week. And just think - you can keep passing those clothes right on down!
Congrats on the another boy! How fun! We are very excited for you guys!
We sure do love our boy-so I guess you will have a lot to love. We are excited for you. I'm glad to hear that nothing was wrong with the ultrasound. How is Max doing?
Congrats! We like boys at our house, too! Having just one princess among the messing, breaking, and wrestling, is an added bonus. So fun!
