A couple of weeks ago, we were coming home from a fun-filled day at the Heber Creeper and got in a small car accident on the way home. Due to construction, traffic suddenly stopped and Nick couldn't stop in time. He swerved off the road, but clipped the back of the car in front of us. We couldn't open the driver's side door and definitely had to get it fixed.

So nearly two weeks and $2800 later, we have our van back. They replaced the fender, bumper, headlight, and wheel. Thanks to insurance, we only have to pay $500 and whatever they raise our rates! Nobody was hurt in the accident. In fact, all three kids slept through the whole event, including the hour after it happened while the highway patrol, did their thing. We're glad to have our van back. I went all last week without a vehicle and luckily was able to borrow Nick's mom's car while she was out of town this week.
Here's the finished product. It looks a lot better now.
