Sam has a serious juice-addiction problem. He loves his juice cup and will carry it around all day. Some kids have a security blanket, others have a favorite stuffed animal, but for Sam, his juice is his biggest source of comfort. Mornings are especially the worst. Some mornings I will refill his juice/water cup about 5-6 before lunch. And then there's the downside....what goes in, must come out. So I'm busy changing very, very full diapers all morning too. This afternoon, Sam woke up early from his nap and so in trying to get him back to sleep, Nick layed down in our bed with him. For 15 minutes straight I heard that familiar sucking sound and then it stopped...that's right, he fell asleep with his juice cup pressed against Nick's face.
Throughout the day, Sam will often shake his juice cup just to make sure that there is enough juice in his cup (just in case an emergency should strike, he doesn't want to be caught unprepared). He is also very particular about the ratio of juice to water in his cup....if it's not sweet enough, he'll send it back...if it's too sweet, he'll keep on drinking, and drinking, and drinking.........

Sounds like his Uncle Tido. He was the same with his milk jug for a long time.
Each one of our kids had litle "quirks" like Sam's. Just a word to the wise. This too will pass.
Love,
Bad Bear
