This past weekend was a fun and relaxing one. Nick took the kids to Salina for the balloon festival. However, I had to stay up here for a Relief Society conference all day Saturday. The kids had a wonderful time playing with cousins, grandparents, and aunts. I enjoyed a whole day away from the kids for the first time ever. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't pregnant.
Playing in the pool.
I guess they only got to see three balloons go up because it was slightly breezy. Nick came back late Saturday night.
On Sunday afternoon, Nick got out of his meetings a little early and came home to enjoy a nap, his favorite dinner of ham, a few gifts, and an outing to Temple Square. It was a very enjoyable day for me and I think Nick really had a good day, too. The kids made cards for him in primary and he really enjoyed those. Max got to spend Father's Day with Grandpa Anderson for his turn of one-on-one time.
The flowers were gorgeous at temple and so were the kids!
Daddy gave a few shoulder rides, too. But Mabel was too scared to go very far. Happy Father's Day!
As for the pregnancy, I have three months left and am starting to get very swollen. So swollen that my feet are getting blisters in my walking shoes. Thank goodness for flip-flops. Other than swelling and a few gallbladder problems, everything else is fine.
