It's Paying Off!

Growing up, we always teased my mom by telling her that the only reason she had kids was to put us to work.  Well, that day has finally come for us.  Tonight while cleaning the bathrooms, the kids were so anxious to help.  I gave them all a scrub brush, sprayed the tub, and told them to scrub it off.  They did very well.  If we can keep this up, my cleaning time will be slashed!!!  (Aren't Max's legs just the cutest?)

Max has always been a character.  For months now, he's been propping one foot onto the table during dinner.  Well, this week, he became even more comfortable and decided to two-foot it.

And just because, here's a quick picture I snapped tonight as Nick was heading out the door to do some more Bishopric visits.

We've spent a lot of money this past week on co-pays and prescriptions.  For Mabel and Sam's ear infections, we paid $77.  Max had a speach and hearing test this week, two appointments which adds up to another $50.  The doctor wants to see Max tomorrow to check his ears for infection, another $25 co-pay.  And if he gets a prescription, that's another $15.  We've been referred to a Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist to get Max tubes for his ears at the end of April.  So just in the past week, with insurance, we've paid (or will pay) $167 in health care costs.

Things are going well with the pregnancy.  I'm finally feeling well again for what feels like the first time this year, but I can tell that my body still is adjusting and isn't quite settled yet.  I used to not mind being pregnant, but now dread the next inconvience that comes with it, but I know it will be so worth it once a new little baby arrives (or at least once the colic is over!).

I love that you seem ok with all the not fun stuff in life.

I absolutely LOVE those chubby little Maxwell legs and bootie. How very cute of all the little chickidees cleaning up the tub. Way to go Ash. Now you "get it"!! Better take advantage now because one day they'll not think it's near so fun and they'll be able to come up with a whole bunch of excuses. Enjoy those little darlin's.
