This was the weekend of the annual princess party. A new princess was old enough to join the party this year. We sure enjoyed having Aliza along for the ride this year. Thanks a bunch to Aunt Kristen for such a fun party. Everyone felt like royalty.
The girls put on a fashion show for us.
We had a wonderful dinner complete with mini sandwiches fit just for a princess.
Mabel had a "ball" playing with Makenah and Aliza.
We had some special visitors ring the door bell.
We had some princess cupcakes.
And had a princess treasure hunt.
Aunt Kristen made all the little princesses the cutest princess pillow cases which was the treasure.
My brother, Ryan, was asked to paint some princess face cut-outs for his stake's girl's camp. So since he was the master artist, we got to use them for the princess party. We all enjoyed playing with them.
After we awoke from our beauty sleep, we braided our hair for an afternoon of watersliding. I love doing little girl's hair, so I'm glad that Shannon lets me play with her girls' hair!
We met up for a family BBQ at Ryan's church pavillion and then enjoyed the benefits of a 100 foot water slide.
The only down side was the rough landings!
Most people stopped by sliding across the grass on the bottom.
It got a little messy
Ryan, Tyler, and Nick became experts on the running "jump"! I'm sure that made for an even rougher landing.
I'm so grateful for a good family who loves and cares for us. We had such a wonderful weekend. Big thanks to everyone for coming and visiting to make it such a good time. And an even more special big thanks to Kristen and Ryan & Erica for hosting such fun parties. I'm so grateful our family is forever!
