Witchy Poo

All in the name of Halloween fun, we ate our annual dinner of hot-dog-mummies and then loaded up the van about 5:45 p.m. and fought traffic on our way to Gardner Village to see the witch festival. (By the way, the kids didn't appreciate the time it took me to make the hot-dog-mummies because they didn't even try to eat the biscuit around the hot dog. Oh, well, maybe someday.) But I must say that the drive and cold weather was worth it for some fun for everyone! It was cold, so everyone bundled up in coats, hats, and gloves. There were a lot of people there doing scavenger hunts and even a group of little girls dressed as witches who had to ride their brooms from one witch display to another. Some kids had witch hats that they had just decorated and were letting them dry. It was a lot of fun despite the cold temps. Mabel got a black cat sticker and Sam got a bat sticker from a new doll shop and they were very excited. There was a real black cat roaming the village that Mabel and Sam were very interested in. And as always, they enjoyed the ducks in the pond. The candy shop had some fresh caramel apples that looked tempting, but we had pumpkin pie at home when we got back.

Mabel, pay attention to how a real witch potty trains!

Okay so I have decided that you are going to adopt me! You always take your kids to do things that look so fun. So it is final I am now in the family!!

How fun! I'll be going there this Saturday with my mother-in-law for the witch fest.
