Even though when we first got married, Nick said that he would get me a flower every week, even if it was out of our garden, he didn't. I still love him, even though he didn't fulfill his promise. But we do grow some of the most gorgeous roses I have ever seen. I love going out and picking a few to put in a vase. It makes me feel special, even though I pick them myself!
Yesterday, in Max's stroller there was sitting this bug. It is one of the coolest bugs I have ever seen. It looks just like a leaf. Nick put it in a container and saved it for a few hours so we could all play with it and then he put it back outside to live. Sam really liked the bug.

Ash,
Your roses are beautiful! I like how they're yellow with pink tips. I wonder if they are fragrant? I think when there is a rose on the table, every time you see it, you can't but help and smile and think of how beautiful, soft, and delicate Heavenly Father made some of his creations in this world. I wonder if that is why men give roses to women?
I have to say, I have always been impressed with how the Anderson clan appreciates creepy, crawly, creatures. I think your neat for making a learning opportunity from finding a "cool" leaf bug. I would have screamed and flung it outside!
Much love,
Erica
I didn't think those leaf bugs lived around these parts. Cool!!
