As part of our annual Valentine's day tradition, we made sugar cookies. This year, Max and Alex helped cut and roll all of them! A little stressful for mommy, but they absolutely loved it!
We also decorated our Valentine boxes, Max's was a dinosaur, Sam's was an angry bird, Mabel's was a white dog (somewhat resembling Sugar), and Alex had a race car.
On Valentine's Day morning, the kids woke up to their valentines from Nick and I. We had a busy day ahead of us. Nick came home from work for a couple hours, while I ran to the school to help out with both Sam and Mabel's Valentine's parties. The best part of being in charge in both parties is that you really only have to plan, just do it twice! I ran home so Nick could get back to work, make lunch for the boys, and gather supplies before picking Mabel up at 12:40 (early day). We then drove to see Aunt Kristen at work taking her chocolate and flowers and homemade Valentine cards. Then we drove to daddy's work and "heart attacked" his truck. By the time we got home, we had just enough time to fold some laundry before getting our Candlelit dinner ready! Happy Valentines day!
