So in January, we bunked the boys' beds again and moved all the boys together and Mabel now has her very own room!
The boys begged me to help them build a tent big enough for whole family. With a little duct tape, some mop handles, and a few large quilts, we built one just big enough for the boys.
Beardy's getting bigger and Sugar's hair fluffed out enough to give her a thousand mats.
The inversions, snow, and negetive temperatures was enough to make me go crazy!
It even made the dog want to get away from it all.
We went out for dinner a few times!
Made our way to Thanksgiving Point to see the dinosaurs.
And had to stop in for a 50 cent ice cream cone....yup that big thing is only 50 cents!
I signed Max up for swimming lessons to help him get more comfortable in the water. The goal was to have him go down the big slide. He's just barely tall enough, but Mabel and Sam could both ride it, and we didn't feel comfortable enough letting him go down.....finally after swimming lessons were over, we went to the pool and watched him go down for the first time, still a bit nervous. He was able to hold his breath under water and he thought it was the best thing ever and went down the slide about 10 more times! We're very proud of him!!!
Sugar keeps hoping that it will snow more so she can escape by hopping the fence!
There was a nice warm day in January that made the snow workable enough to build a snowman! I think that has been the only day so far...I'm glad we took advantage while we did!
We also made a snow fort!
Our snowbank is out of control. With the 4 past snow storms, it got even higher than this picture.
Nick and Sam shoveled some snow off the carport. Nick said he was fearful that the weight would be bad for the roof, but I think it was just something "manly" he could do with the boys!
We have 1:00 church. I've had to leave before church a few times and when Alex shows up at church, he's wearing a different shirt. Nick had to change it this week because he got markers all over it only 5 minutes before having to walk out the door. Two weeks later, it was a pan of brownies that he got into 5 minutes before leaving for church.....luckily the marker was washable!
And because it's January and we're cheap, we decorated gingerbread cookie people that we got on Christmas clearance!
