Life at our house is chugging along quickly. It is sad to think how fast time flies (although I never think that when I have a child under the age of one). One of our favorite family shows includes "Dancing with the Stars". All the kids really enjoy it, and so do I. "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Wipe Out" are our other two favorite family shows. We usually watch only a few minutes here or there together, but the family can all share a laugh when they're on. Above, were doing our FHE with it on.
Max is a big character. He is always full of surprises. Somehow, he can consistently put his shirt, pants, and shoes on backwards every time. He can always laugh at his mistakes and always wants to play a game. Whenever he has a cup or water, juice, or milk, he insists that it's easier to drink it if he gets two spoons and sips it out of them simultaneously.
Sugar loves to play outside.
We made popcorn trees last week.
The boys love helping me around the house. Sometimes I think kids chores are just a joke, but we keep on trying to teach them. Yes, that is Max spraying Sam with the window cleaner.
Our friends invited us over last weekend for an Easter egg hunt. Our kids just love their family and the other invited family and they are all good friends. We're so lucky to have such good friends.
Within minutes of returning home from the Easter party, Alex slipped off one of our dining chairs and hit his tooth on the table leg. Yup, he chipped two teeth. Since it was still bleeding 3 hours after the accident, we feared that there might me more damage, so I took him to the dentist on Monday. They said the teeth were still "mobile", but expected them to tighten up as it healed. They also suspect that the nerve might be damaged and that the tooth might turn blackish. We're hoping for the best and that it doesn't turn dark, but whatever happens, his smile will have some added character!!
