Today was Alex's first official day at Nursery!!! I've been taking him on and off for the last few months and he has really liked it. The problem is that he really likes it with me there! So as soon as I left, he began to cry and just wanted to be held the whole time. Luckily he worked through it and I was able to go to Sunday School for the first time in more than a year!
For Mabel's birthday, her friend, Marissa, gave her a church dress that matched one that she had. Mabel wore it to church today and so did Marissa. So after church, they stopped by so we could take a picture of these two little friends.
Mabel has a loose tooth! It might take some work to get it out, though, since we can see the new tooth behind her old one and it doesn't look like it will push it out. She's growing up.
We took advantage of the gorgeous weather yesterday and went to the park. You can see, it was a hit! We will be making lots of trips to the park this summer!
The kids have been really good at helping around the house. They really don't want to pick up their toys, but if you ask them to scrub the toilet or vacuum, they are fighting over it. They still don't do it thoroughly and I have to go back and do it again, but I'm so glad that they are willing!
