Well, this first picture has nothing to do with Nick's birthday, but I just thought it was really cute of Alex after his haircut this week.
Sam and Max are becoming great friends. Max went to Aunt Kristen's for a sleepover this week and they both really missed each other. Neither one would admit to it, but they really do like each other.
Okay, now to the birthday celebration....Nick turned 32 this week! On Friday, we celebrated with his mom and his Aunt Elaine (who was visiting from Indiana) by going to the zoo with the kids. It was a lot of fun. It was cold outside, but there were enough buildings with animals inside that we still stayed warm.
On Saturday, we made a cake for his Superbowl celebration on his birthday. He was excited about Madonna singing to him on his birthday for the half time show.
Sam seems to be getting better at his aim with the gun. He clocked Nick a good one on the forehead for his birthday.
On Sunday, we invited Kristen, Annette and Elaine over for a Superbowl party. Nick requested all the usual junk food that comes with such a party. The kids really liked the commercials.
The kids made him cards which happened to be his favorite presents!
Happy Birthday, Nick. We love you and are so lucky to have you.
