Everyone seems to have such a negative attitude toward Valentines Day and I'm not sure why. I'm not sure if people's expectations are too high or what, but I think Valentine's Day is a great way to show others that you care about them....it's not just about romance. It is definitely a lot of fun to teach the kids how to do something special for someone else.
Nick and I got the kids a little Valentine and set it out for them to find first thing in the morning. They loved it!
Max and Sam took some time to make a special Valentine for Aunt Kristen.
Sam's Valentine was from "Sam and Beardy"....Beardy definitely helped make the Valentine! (I really like that lizard for some reason!)
The boys helped make dinner this week....their favorite, mac 'n' cheese! And yes, that is cream cheese frosting all over Max's clothes. We made a double batch of sugar cookies and took them to the kid's primary teaches, friends, and neighbors. Besides getting Valentines at school, I think the highlights of our Valentine's Day was having lunch with Aunt Kristen and decorating daddy's truck at work.
