Today was Mabel's first day of Kindergarten. We set our alarms for 6:45a.m. and everyone was awake by 7:00 a.m.
After getting dressed (minus Alex), we all had our breakfast of champions and a few cartoons.
And then we were out the door by 7:50 a.m. to make our half mile journey.
When the bell rang at 8:10a.m., Mabel got very, very nervous. Even though she is standing by her friends, Jayden and Marissa, she still had to bite her fingernails.
Three hours later, we were back to pick her up. She must of had a good time because she was in a great mood, other than the fact that she had to pee and walk the half mile back home, up-hill (both ways), in the snow (just kidding)! We are so excited for Mabel to learn new things. Here's hoping for a great year!

I can't believe little Mabel is so grown up! I can tell she was so excited and nervous. My wallpaper at work is Mabel and Abbie at the piano! I can't believe how fast time goes!
She looks so cute for her first day of school. It seems like we have been in school forever and she is just starting. I love school.
