In preparation for General Conference, we had a family home evening lesson on King Benjamin and how the people pitched their tents around the temple to listen to their prophet. We then popped in an old General conference DVD and watched a talk.
We also listened to some music.
Nick told them about sustaining our prophet and apostles.
And afterwards, we got out the balls and let the kids play in the tent. I don't think that this will help them listen to conference any more or less than they normally would, but hopefully they'll remember about King Benjamin.
