We celebrated Valentines Day on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Nick and I went out to dinner. And on Sunday, we invited Kristen to come over for a Valentine's dinner with more men than she knew what to do with. The boys certainly smothered her with kisses!
Alex is now on solid foods. He has a love hate relationship with solids....he loves pears and apples, and hates everything else.
Sam has made great strides with his coloring over the past few weeks. He colored this picture of Spider man today all by himself. He picked the colors and stayed in the lines. He was so proud of himself, the picture is now hanging above his bed.
Tonight, while making dinner, Alex helped himself to Mabel's valentines. He somehow also managed to knock the box on the floor. Alex is so alert lately and wants to do everything the other kids do. He just needs to learn to sit up first.
Today at dance class, Mabel came home with a trophy for perfect attendance! She was a little embarrassed at first, but by this evening was really excited about it. Tomorrow, Mabel gets to celebrate her birthday at preschool. She is so excited about her birthday this year. She helped me make some cupcakes to take tomorrow and can't stop thinking about it. It is so fun to see to see her face light up and a big smile stamp across her face everytime she thinks about HER birthday.
