The Burst Family

Here's some individual pictures that I took of the kids last week, but am just now posting.

 Mabel has had a lump just in front of ear for a few months now.  It started to turn bluish-purple and get bigger, so we finally got into the ENT this week to have it checked out.  He didn't know exactly what it was so Mabel went in for a CT scan this week.  I don't know if it was scarier for her or me.  The report came back that it is a cyst and needs to be surgically removed.  So Mabel will undergo the "knife" in two weeks to have it removed....I'm definitely more scared about this one than she is.

 The kids got tattoos for Valentines Day from their friends, so we put them on.  Sam really likes his Spiderman tattoo. 

 Wednesday was free zoo day, so our friends invited us to go with them.  It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad we got out to enjoy a nice winter day.

 As we stopped to look at the peacocks, a female strutted by and this male raised his feathers and shook them for his lady!  The kids loved it.  Sadly the female acted completely disinterested and strutted on past him without a second look.

 The kids are so creative with their play lately....they all climbed in the airplane (aka Sam's bunk) while waiting their turn to get ready for church today.  I love these kids so much!
