On Saturday, we went to Kristen's Ward Christmas Party in Bountiful. We heard that Santa was going to be there, so we had to go!! Mabel and Sam hopped right up on Santa's lap and weren't even scared. Infact, Sam couldn't wait to get up to the stage to talk to him. Mabel told him that she wanted a baby with dr. stuff and Sam told him to bring him a super-hero (namely Ironman). Afterwards, Sam told me that Santa had blue eyes just like Mabel and Alex have. He has mentioned that detail about Santa about 3-4 times since Saturday. Max was too scared of Santa, but still got a candy cane. Mabel told Max that he would help him write a letter to Santa today so he would know that he wanted Woody (a.k.a. anything Toy Story).

I'm really surprised Sam actually got on Santa's lap and talked to him. Wow!
Next year, Max will be brave. If Sam can do it, anybody can, right?

I hear that Santa's eye color can change from time to time. I know this because when I was a kid, I got on Santa's lap and noticed his bright blue eyes. But later that same season when I got on his lap at the mall, he'd changed his eyes to brown. He also had changed his cologne from Old Spice to Stetson, too. A curious choice, I might add. So mysterious, that Santa Claus guy.
