Today at church, I was suddenly called out of Relief Society and told that Max had fallen off a rocking horse and cut his chin in nursery. When I got there, he seemed fine and only had a small smudge of blood on his chin, but no scratch, so we assumed that he must have bit his lip or something. I washed off the blood and went back to RS. After church, I picked him up and accidentally touched the back of his head and noticed that there was a section of hair all clumped together. I looked down and noticed blood all over the back of his head and on my hand from where I had touched him. I showed Nick and we tried to clean it up a little before leaving church. Nick asked to be excused from his after church responsibilities and we decided to take him to insta-care since it hadn't stopped bleeding 3 hours after the incident. Nick took our brave Max in where they numbed his head and stapled it shut. You can kind of see the staple in the picture below.
Max must have a high threshold for pain because he hasn't seemed too phased by the whole incident.

Yikes! I hope he is still doing Ok. Sometimes it takes them a while to realize what has happened to them. Tough guy.
What a tough guy. Nursery is getting so dangerious no days.
I can't believe he didn't complain about he's head hurting and that no one noticed the blood before. Poor guy.
Tough kid. I hope he's doing OK.
