Alexander Ivan meet Alexander Edmund. This weekend we ventured up to Wellsville to let Alex meet his great-grandpa and great-grandma. We didn't stay very long, but sure had a good visit while we were there.
On the way home, we stopped in Brigham City at Paul's pumpkin patch to buy some fall produce. They had a free kid's straw maze that the kids loved!
The kids got pretty scared of the spiders dangling from the entrance.
Nick was pretty proud of the assortment of squash we bought. We ate our buttercup squash today, but still have a lot more squash to go!
We had regional conference today at the Conference Center and were home by about 1:00, so we had a whole afternoon to fill with fun activities. We let the kids paint their white pumpkins that we picked up earlier this month.
Max mastered the fine art of mixing colors to create a nice shade of brown.
Alex asked if his pumpkin painting could wait until next year.
Nick made brownies with the kids this afternoon. Sam and Max really got into it.
It was so nice having regional conference today. Nick was with the family all day!! We left the house about 8:45 and headed downtown for the conference. 23 stakes were invited to the Conference Center so it was really busy. The kids did really well for the first half of the conference and then we spent the second hour of the conference in the foyer areas. We had a nice Sunday dinner together when we got home and had all afternoon to spend together as a family. It was really fun having Nick home on a Sunday. I really miss hanging out with him on Sundays.

I'm glad you had such a fun weekend!
Looks like you all had a fun weekend.
You sure know how to put a lot of fun in your days. Great activities. I like the little bats on the wall too. It was fun to see you again for a little while on Sat.
It looks like it was an eventful, busy weekend. I like the pics of little Alex with G&G! I'm sure Grandpa was delighted to have a namesake.
The shot with Grandpa and Alex is great. It looks like you had a lot of fun.
