It's been a long time in coming, but Max had his first haircut today. Mabel had her first haircut at about 6 months old, Sam had his around 2 months old so it's about time that Max's hair grew long enough to cut it. Max's hair is super thin and fine and keeps falling out, but I was determined to cut it today--mainly because I spend all morning cutting Sam's and Mabel's so I wanted to get the mess all over at once.
Before--I strapped him in his high chair while he was eating lunch. He probably ate some hair too, but at least I could cut it without him squirming away.
After--I actually took him into the bathroom and did some fine-tuning after this picture(this time he was pinned between my legs, playing with a water bottle)--but you get the jist.
Mas has a stubborn cow-lick right in front--hopefully I can figure out how to cut his hair so it looks cute enough to drive the girl's crazy!

Hey, Max, You are looking great. Its nice to get your "ears lowered". I think you will be able to crawl faster now. Not only that but all the girls in the neighborhood will be after you. You are really styling buddy.

Wow, you're a much better hair stylist than me! I totally butchered Asher's hair one morning and rushed him to Cookie Cutters right after work. I don't have the mommy hair cutting gene - that's for sure.
