Thursday was a special day for our kids at school. Mabel was the story teller in their 1st grade class play of "The Woman Who Swallowed A Fly". It was really cute and fun. The kids' faces were priceless.
Right after the play, we went to the school gym for the choir concert. Mabel and Sam have been in choir this spring and have really enjoyed it. They sang very well!
Sam I think was the youngest kid in choir. I had to drop him back off at school in the afternoon for choir since he's in morning kindergarten. But he really liked it. I think he'd enjoy it even more if he had some friends in the choir with him!
That evening, was the school's dance festival. Sam's grade did the stick dance!
And Mabel's grade did the chicken dance. She was wiggling her bum and skipping so cute. She was having a great time!
Then on Saturday, we had even more dancing! Mabel had a small performance at the classic skating rink. The boys had a soccer game and couldn't come, so I took Alex and was the mother helper for Mabel's class.....sadly they were one of the last groups to dance, so it was a really long wait, but we came prepared with a little candy for her class! Things are starting to wrap up for the school year and it feels good!
