Thanksgiving 2009

This year for Thanksgiving, we went to Salina and spent it with my family.  We had a great time.  Here's a few pictures.  Above, Makenah and Aliza were around and a lot of fun to play with.  Below, the turkey was the most moist turkey I've ever had.  It was delish!!  The only problem was that the kids were wondering around for most of the meal.

Before we ate Thanksgiving dinner, Nick and I took the kids on a 4-wheeler ride to see the cows and horses in some nearby fields.  The kids loved picking some dried leaves and grass and feeding it to the horses.  The horses actually came running when they saw us coming.

On Friday, we went to Richfield to do a little shopping.  We got to Wal-mart at about 10:00 and saw Santa riding on a fire truck.  We did a little shopping of what was left and then headed down to the post office to wait in line for about a half hour to see Santa Claus.  The kids weren't nearly as scared of Santa as I thought they would be.  It was great weather and we didn't even need our jackets.

We got home yesterday and had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Next matter of business around our house is decking the halls!
