You know the kids are desperate for Summer when they change into their swimsuits, lay out a blanket (aka water) and swim in it. It has been 50 degrees and rainy all week. I think it's time for some good weather.
Diving off the diving board into the water.
Sam's practicing swimming. He was kicking his feet an moving his head back and forth. I can't believe how creative these kids are getting lately. They are so much fun.
For FHE we had a lesson on Nephi and the broken bow. I got the kids all their own bow and arrow set. So after the lesson, we set up their stuffed animals on the couch and the kids spent the rest of the time trying to figure out how to use the bow and arrow. By the end, they all had "hunted" and "killed" an animal.
Last Sunday we went to Bountiful to see their chalk-art festival with Kristen. Kristen lives a block away from all the action on main street and we love going over there to play. We even convinced her to make us some brownies!
Sam enjoyed the Captain America and Incredible Hulk art while Mabel enjoyed the Tangled ones better.
They loved the fountain.
I think Max ended up getting a little too "up close and personal" with the art!
